Electronic circuit layout engineer responsible for all aspects of design capture, tradeoffs, and documentation using Mentor Graphics sophisticated Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Design (CAD) tools. Includes design, manufacturing, and assembly issue resolution, and creation and maintenance of design documentation. Computer Aided Design engineering using Mentor Graphics tools.
Includes planning for manufacturing & making tradeoffs. Create and disseminate manufacturing documentation. Communicate with all levels of staff and customers. Problem solving related to the design, documentation, fabrication, assembly, and change of electronic products. Assist in documenting the policies and procedures for the design section. Assist in operational and personnel leadership.

Requirements |
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 8 years of experience designing electronic products with the CAE/CAD tools, including schematic capture, board layout, circuit routing, and formal documentation. Extensive knowledge of electronic fabrication and assembly techniques. Good written and verbal communication, problem solving, multitasking, and computer skills. Good customer focus and interaction. Able to effectively document procedures and has some leadership cababilities.
Desired: MS degree in an electronics or manufacturing field. At least 5 years of experience designing high-reliability military or spacecraft electronics. Experience designing in an AS-9100 or ISO-9001 environment. Experience leading small project teams. Experience with custom integrated circuit design.
